About the role

This is a hands-on outdoor labouring role in the recycling industry. You will work in an industrial environment performing a range of duties to support site operations at Ecocycle's St Mary's facility.

Key responsibilities

- Cleaning and maintaining the recycling yard

- General labouring duties in an outdoor environment

- Sorting of mixed batteries into their different chemistries

- Stand and perform fast paced repetitive tasks

- Working around machinery and supporting site operations

- Keeping work areas safe, tidy and compliant

- Secure operation of Ecocycle vehicles and forklift operations

- Perform yard tasks, product processing tasks and cleaning tasks as required

- Operate plant and equipment as per Safe Work procedures

- Notify the site manager of any plant maintenance requirements

About you

- Previous labouring experience preferred





- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work and repetitive tasks

- Safety conscious with a can-do attitude

- Current LF Forklift Licence (required)

- Reliable, hardworking and team focused

- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions

- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with no working restrictions

- Available for immediate start

- Willing and available to work overtime and weekends when required
