Production Assistant Team Leader - Night Shift

We are currently recruiting a Production Assistant Team Leader to support our Production Team Leader on night shift, and lead a team of production operators in our food and beverage manufacturing facility.

The role will suit an experienced FMCG production worker who is ready to step into leadership, or an existing team leader looking for their next move. We want someone who leads by example and wants to build a career with our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading and supervising a team of production operators
- Setting shift priorities and allocating resources
- Coaching your team and supporting training of new staff
- Championing safety and completing pre start checks
- Overseeing changeovers, start ups and shutdowns
- Troubleshooting mechanical and process issues on the line
- Working with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams
- Driving continuous improvement and reducing waste
- Ensuring SOPs are followed
- Keeping accurate shift records and handovers

About You:

Successful applicants will possess the following:

- 3 to 5 years experience in a fast paced FMCG manufacturing environment, preferably food or beverage
- Experience supervising or motivating a team
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Understanding of food safety, HACCP, GMP and aseptic processing




- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and overtime as required
- Highly automated filling and packaging experience (highly regarded)
- Lean or continuous improvement experience, and frontline leadership or food manufacturing certifications (an advantage)

Made's facility is a clean and organised work environment and operates on a three shift basis.

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
