About the role

As Project Engineer based in Bellambi, NSW, you'll work alongside Project Managers and site teams to support the safe, efficient delivery of our projects, helping coordinate planning, procurement, subcontractors, project controls and site delivery from mobilisation through to close-out. It's a hands-on role with genuine variety and real support: the kind of position where an engineer a few years into their career can build broad project-delivery experience, develop robust commercial awareness, and grow toward Senior Project Engineer.

You'll bring sound engineering judgement, a problem-solving mindset and clear communication to help deliver works to spec, on program and on budget.

What you'll be doing

- Create safe & healthy workplaces: champion HSEQ and embed safety, quality and environmental controls into your work.
- Support project delivery: take projects from mobilisation through to completion and close-out, assisting with startup planning, readiness reviews, handovers and keeping milestones on track.
- Support the commercials: assist with contract and subcontract administration, budgeting, forecasting and cost control, and help track variations, progress claims and project costs.
- Develop methodologies & work packs: prepare methodologies, work packs, staging plans and delivery strategies, and review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Coordinate procurement & subcontractors: help procure labour, plant, materials and subcontract services, and monitor subcontractor delivery against programme.
- Coordinate on site: attend sites regularly to monitor progress, quality, safety and productivity, and help resolve technical and delivery issues alongside Supervisors.
- Project Documentation:



maintain project registers, controls and documentation, prepare reports and progress updates, and track actions from review meetings.
- Support client & stakeholder communication: build positive working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, and help communicate project status and risks.
- Manage risk & quality: identify project risks, support QA, inspections, audits and non-conformance management, and ensure works comply with specifications, contract and standards.

What you'll bring

- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Construction, Mechanical or related discipline).
- 3–5 years' experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or similar across demolition, remediation, civil, mining, defence, industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting project delivery, procurement, subcontractors and project controls.
- Solid understanding of project planning, contract administration and construction methodologies.
- Experience developing methodologies, work packs and delivery strategies.
- Robust communication and stakeholder skills.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally on occasion, getting close to major projects and key stakeholders, whilst identifying areas where you can add measurable impact.
- Current White Card and Driver's Licence.

Nice to have: Project Management qualification · demolition,



decommissioning, remediation or resource-sector delivery · project management & scheduling software · understanding of Australian Standard construction contracts.
