As we continue to grow our presence in the ACT, we are looking for a capable Project Manager who can successfully deliver projects while also helping us build relationships, strengthen our market presence and identify future opportunities.

This role would suit someone with solid project delivery experience who is ready to take greater ownership and grow with the business.

The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of remedial construction projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, to the required quality, on programme and within budget.

You will manage planning, procurement, subcontractors, programme, commercial performance and client relationships across the project lifecycle.

In addition to project delivery, the role will also contribute to RM Watson’s growth in the ACT by:

- building and maintaining strong client, consultant and industry relationships;
- identifying potential project and market opportunities;
- providing local market intelligence and industry insights.

Essential Criteria

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry, with demonstrated project management experience.
- Experience delivering projects from commencement through to completion.
- Experience managing projects over $1m.
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, programming, procurement and subcontractor management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, programme and commercial outcomes.




- Solid client and stakeholder relationship skills.
- Ability to lead and coordinate project teams and subcontractors.
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office 365.
- Current driver's licence.
- Current White Card.

Desirable Criteria

- Remedial, façade, structural or refurbishment experience.
- Experience working in live or occupied environments.
- Existing relationships or market experience within the ACT construction sector.
- Experience within aged care, education, health, defence, infrastructure, mining or other relevant target sectors.
- Experience using Procore or similar project management software.
- Project Management qualifications.
- Experience with HammerTech, SignOnSite or similar site management systems.
