Are you an experienced Project Manager who enjoys technical challenges, problem-solving and seeing projects through from order to delivery?

Axiom Precision Manufacturing is a proudly South Australian, family-owned precision engineering and advanced manufacturing company with more than 40 years of experience delivering solutions to the Defence, Aerospace and other highly demanding industries.

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Project Manager to join our team.

? What you’ll be doingYou’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects, working closely with our customers and internal engineering, manufacturing, quality and purchasing teams.

Your role will include

- Managing projects from setup through to final delivery
- Developing and monitoring project schedules and milestones
- Managing budgets, costs and expenditure
- Coordinating engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and subcontractors
- Building strong customer relationships and providing regular project updates
- Identifying risks and issues early and driving solutions
- Managing scope, priorities and project changes
- Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and documentation
- Working closely with our workshop and technical teams to keep projects moving

? What we’re looking forWe’re looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates well and is comfortable working across both technical and commercial aspects of a project.

You’ll ideally have

✔️ Experience managing complex projects, programs or manufacturing activities





✔️ Robust planning and organisational skills

✔️ Experience with MS Project or similar software

✔️ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

✔️ Experience managing budgets, suppliers and subcontractors

✔️ The ability to identify and resolve issues proactively

✔️ The ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation

✔️ A practical understanding of how products are designed and manufactured A manufacturing or technical background is highly regarded, including machining, fabrication, engineering, production, CNC, tool making or drafting.

A formal Project Management qualification is not essential. We’re interested in what you can demonstrate — particularly your ability to take ownership, coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver results.
