Workforce is looking for Project Managers across civil, commercial and residential construction to join a range of our clients on permanent roles throughout Sydney and NSW. Our clients range from tier 2 and 3 builders to specialist civil contractors and quality residential builders. They have strong pipelines and want PMs who can take ownership of a project and deliver it on time, on budget and safely.

Whether your background is roads, drainage and subdivisions, fit-outs and mid-rise commercial, or high-end homes and multi-res, we have roles that match your experience.

What you’ll be doing

- Managing projects end to end, from contract award and pre-start through to completion and handover
- Developing and managing programmes, budgets, cost reports and cash flow forecasts
- Engaging, coordinating and managing subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Managing variations, EOTs, progress claims and contract administration
- Leading site teams and ensuring WHS, quality and environmental compliance
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, consultants and stakeholders, including reporting and site meetings

What you’ll need

- Proven experience as a Project Manager (or a strong Senior CA / Site Manager ready to step up) in civil, commercial or residential construction
- A track record delivering projects in the relevant value range for your sector
- Strong commercial skills: budgets, cost control, variations and contract administration (AS2124 / AS4000 / HIA / MBA contracts as relevant)
- Solid understanding of WHS legislation,



NCC/Australian Standards and relevant authority approvals
- Proficiency with programming and project software (MS Project, Procore, Aconex, Buildxact or similar)
- Construction-related tertiary qualification highly regarded; White Card and current driver’s licence essential
