Our client is a well-regarded mid-tier contractor that specialises in formwork, reinforcement and concrete pour packages across the civil and energy sectors.

They deliver structures for Tier 1 head contractors on some of Australia’s biggest projects, including bridges, culverts, wind turbine foundations, substations, BESS sites and water infrastructure. Their order book is strong, so they need an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery in the field.

The role

You’ll run FRP packages on Tier 1 projects from award to handover. You’ll be responsible for program, cost, safety, quality and people on remote and regional sites.

Your responsibilities will include

- Managing project delivery, including programs, budgets, quality and HSE
- Being the main point of contact with Tier 1 head contractors and clients
- Leading supervisors, formwork crews, steel fixers and concrete teams
- Planning pour sequences and coordinating suppliers and logistics
- Managing variations, progress claims and cost-to-complete reporting
- Making sure documentation meets Tier 1 requirements




- Travelling to project sites on a FIFO basis - as PM you will travel as required

About you

- At least 5 years of project management experience in civil or energy structures
- A solid background in formwork, reo and concrete works, ideally as a subcontractor
- Experience delivering packages on Tier 1 projects
- Commercial strength: you know how to run a subcontract and protect margin
- A hands-on leader who’s comfortable on site and respected by the crews
- Willingness to do FIFO and travel regularly
- A trade or engineering background
- White Card, current driver’s licence and [site-specific tickets]
