Your NewRole

Reporting to theYouth Homelessness Coordinator, you will be one of our manyvaluable Support Workers delivers direct support to youngpeople identified through after-school programs and communityengagement activities. The role focuses on building trustedrelationships, identifying risks and support needs, providing casemanagement, and connecting young people with appropriate servicesto prevent or address homelessness.



You will work collaborativelywith schools, families, and community agencies to improve outcomesfor vulnerable young people while facilitating a safe andsupportive service environment for children and youngpeople.

AboutYou

- Hold (or able toobtain before commencement) a QLDWorking withChildren Check (Blue Card) and consent toa NationalPolice Check
- MinimumCertificate IV in youth work, community development/welfare,human services or related discipline, or equivalent to(desirable)
- Relevantexperience in social and community sector(desirable)
- Current opendriver’s license, eligible to obtain an RDA ifrequired
- Hold a currentFirst Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtain
