Commercial Property Manager Your new company
Our client is a privately owned property investment and development business with a growing portfolio of commercial and industrial assets across Sydney. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial & Industrial Asset Manager to join their team and take ownership of a diverse portfolio.
Your current role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of a commercial and industrial property portfolio. This is a hands-on role requiring regular site visits, stakeholder engagement and a proactive approach to asset performance and issue resolution.
Key responsibilities include:Managing a portfolio of commercial and industrial assets across Sydney
Building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, owners and external stakeholders
Overseeing leasing activities, tenant matters and contractor performance
Monitoring budgets, cash flow, P&Ls; and overall asset performance
Coordinating capital works, maintenance projects and construction-related activities
Working closely with agents, consultants, builders and legal advisers
Identifying risks and opportunities to enhance portfolio value and performance
Taking ownership of issues and delivering practical outcomes with minimal supervision
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive experience managing commercial and industrial property portfolios
Strong understanding of asset management, leasing and property operations
Proven ability to analyse financial statements, budgets and asset performance
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
Sound knowledge of the Sydney commercial and industrial property market
Experience working with contractors, consultants and construction professionals
Practical building, construction or trade-related experience will be highly regarded
Ability to work independently and make commercially sound decisions
High levels of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail
Current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
