Purchasing Officer - Pronto Experience - Work from home 3 days a week

Purchasing Officer | Guildford | Hybrid Working A well-established organisation within the resources sector is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to join its Supply & Logistics team based in Guildford, with the flexibility to work from home 3 days per week.

The Role Reporting to the Purchasing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the procurement and expediting of parts and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Raise and manage purchase orders for goods and services

Follow up outstanding orders, deliveries, credits, and invoice queries

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships

Support stakeholders with procurement and catalogue enquiries

Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures

Identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier improvements

Maintain accurate purchasing records and data

About You

Previous experience in a Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain role

Experience within the mining, resources, or heavy industry sector preferred





Strong working knowledge of Pronto software is essential

Confident working with large volumes of data and purchase orders

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
