Qlik Sense Administrator | Canberra / Melbourne / Adelaide / Brisbane - | Hybrid Citizens with NV1 | Contract
QLIK Sense Platform Administrator The Experienced Data Platforms Administration specialist will provide technical support and management for the Qlik Sense systems on behalf of the Department of Social Services and other government agencies.
Note: There may be a requirement to participate in an on-call roster.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support and technical administration for instances of Qlik Sense, Qlik NPrint, and partial support for IBM InfoSphere DataStage
- Diagnose and resolve system issues and contribute to the resolution of incidents
- Plan, test, and execute patching and upgrade activities to ensure compliance with security and regulatory policies and deliver system enhancements
- Multi-tenancy report and application management
- Administer ETL and application load schedules
- Platform monitoring and performance management
- Platform security and access management
- Write and review documentation and standard operating procedures
Technical skills Deep knowledge of the Qlik Sense platform and integrations Knowledge / Qualifications A degree in software engineering, computer science, or a similar field is highly desirable.
Essential criteria
- 1.Demonstrated expert-level Qlik Sense administration capability, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability, security and operational support for multi-tenancy enterprise environments
- 2.Demonstrated expert-level Qlik NPrinting administration capability, ETL scheduling, access provisioning, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
- 3.Demonstrated experience supporting data analytics platforms in enterprise environments, including identifying and managing platforms, managing ETL load schedules, deployment and operational risks
- 4.Demonstrated ability to plan, validate and implement controlled data analytics platform upgrades and migrations while maintaining service continuity, data integrity and availability
- 5.Demonstrated experience working with data platforms – especially Qlik Sense
Desirable criteria
- 1.Working experience in large organisation or government agency
