GCI Group has proudly delivered laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication services for over 20 years, supporting a wide range of industries with reliable, high-quality solutions. We are looking for a Qualified Welder to join our team at Yatala.

This role focuses on light fabrication and sheet metal welding, not heavy fabrication or structural.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and light fabrication projects.
- Read and interpret basic technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and product quality.
- Keep the work area clean, organised and safe.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirements.

About You

- Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in MIG and/or TIG welding, preferably with sheet metal or light fabrication.




- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- A proactive, safety-conscious and team-oriented approach.
