At The Loft we are a creative, inclusive, high end salon that loves beautiful hair.

As a Stylist at The Loft, you will play a pivotal role in providing an unmatched guest experience as well as becoming apart of our neighbourhood culture. The Loft Hair Salon was established 17 years ago in Mermaid Beach, making us a prominent business in the area with a loyal community of guests.

This full time position will be based in salon, working alongside our Stylist in a professional, creative but down to earth manner. We are looking for someone with a passion for our industry who gets excited for colour, styling and loves a hair transformation.

The Role:

Cutting, styling and colouring (foiling, gloss, balayage) tailored to your guest’s specific needs

Consulting with guests in order to make a plan to create their dream hair

Maintain a professional standard and attitude within the salon

Proactively stay up to date with trends and attend education and team building events provided to you by The Loft

Actively engage and post on social media

Learn current techniques with enthusiasm

What We Are Looking For:

A FULL TIME dedicated Stylist looking to build a career within our salon with a minimum of 2 years experience

A professional and enthusiastic approach to our salon environment

Team-orientated

A customer focussed individual who understands the importance of community

Passion and creative flair for the hair industry

Open to education and up-skilling as required
