Flexible Allied Health Reception Opportunity | Casual Position

Our growing allied health and wellness practice is seeking a welcoming and customer-focused Allied Health Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis.

This role is ideal for someone seeking adaptable work within a positive healthcare environment. Casual shifts may be available to assist with annual leave cover, staff absences, periods of increased client demand, Saturdays and other busy periods throughout the year.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of our multidisciplinary healthcare practice.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, reliable, highly organised and committed to helping the practice operate efficiently and successfully.

Key Responsibilities

Provide reception support to ensure the smooth running of the clinic

Assist clients with appointments, enquiries and general administrative needs

Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner

Welcome patients, helping create a positive clinic experience

Process payments and maintain accurate client information

Scan, upload and manage documents within clinic systems

Assist with maintaining organised reception, treatment and stock areas

Support the team during busy periods, staff leave and increased client demand

Has previous reception, administration or customer service experience

Presents professionally and enjoys working with people

Is dependable, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Learns new systems and procedures quickly

Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Communicates confidently and courteously with clients and colleagues

Remains calm and professional when managing multiple tasks

Is willing to step in and assist where needed

Has flexible availability and enjoys variety in their work

Previous experience in allied health, medical, specialist or healthcare reception will be highly regarded.

Remuneration

From $40 per hour , depending on experience, capability and relevant healthcare industry background.
