About the role

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Labourers to join our team on a casual basis in Melbourne VIC 3000. This is a hands-on, on-site position that plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our civil and construction projects. As a Labourer, you will work across various construction sites, supporting the broader project team in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification. This is casual work, offering flexibility and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing, levelling, and excavation work
- Performing general labouring duties such as carrying, loading, and unloading materials and equipment
- Supporting skilled trades workers with their tasks and requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised work site and keeping work areas free from hazards
- Operating basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Operating machinery if you are qualified to do so
- Spotting if you are qualified to do so




- Assisting with the movement and placement of building materials and components
- Following all site safety protocols and health and safety regulations
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members on site
- Undertaking general maintenance and upkeep tasks as directedContributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we’re looking for

- Previous experience in a labouring, construction, or civil works role (desirable but not essential)
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour duties
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely at heights or in confined spaces when required
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- Current driver’s licence (desirable)
- A valid Construction Induction Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain one
- Spotting ticket (UG , OH - underground and over head)
- Commitment to health and safety standards and practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts and sites as required
