About the role

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will develop the skills to install, service and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems while completing your apprenticeship and associated formal training.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with the installation of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and assist with servicing and repairs.
- Support fault-finding, testing and commissioning under supervision.
- Work with pipework, components and the tools used in the trade.
- Follow safe working practices and maintain tidy, organised work areas.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and customers.

About you

- A completed relevant pre-apprenticeship certificate in refrigeration and air conditioning or electrotechnology.
- A genuine interest in the refrigeration and air conditioning trade.
- A current C Class driver's licence and the ability to travel to work across Perth Metro.




- Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and people skills, with a professional presentation.
- A practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work in a team.
- A robust commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship and required formal training.
