About Sharon AI
Sharon AI is an Australian neocloud, delivering trusted AI infrastructure organisations need to build, train and run AI at scale. We support customers across the full AI lifecycle, from training through to inference and agentic AI, drawing on a strong ecosystem of technology and co-location partners to deliver capability where it's needed. As the first neocloud to join NVIDIA's AI Compute Program, we're growing quickly, scaling our AI Factory platform to meet rising demand for advanced compute.
The Role
As Sharon AI continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Regional Delivery Manager to join our Delivery team and play an important role in deploying and delivering our AI Factories across the region, reporting to our Head of Delivery.
AI Factories are the high-performance GPU compute environments that underpin Sharon AI's AI cloud, serving customers and internal teams running large-scale training, fine-tuning and inference. In this role, the Regional Delivery Manager will lead the regional delivery squads that take each AI Factory from site preparation through physical build, validation and platform deployment to customer acceptance. You'll own how deployments are done, how long they take, and testing across the deployment lifecycle, with reducing deployment time at the heart of the job.
You'll work closely with our Project Management Office, Operations, Platform and Infrastructure teams, data centre providers, vendors and customers, with exposure to cutting-edge technology at the forefront of AI infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, managing and developing the regional delivery squads, including hiring, onboarding, performance management and capability development
- Planning and allocating squad capacity across concurrent AI Factory deployments, and directing contract engineers and vendor crews on site
- Leading the technical delivery of each AI Factory from site readiness through build, validation, platform deployment, acceptance and handover
- Owning the technical deployment plan, working with the project's technical project manager and with Finance on budget
- Coordinating with data centre providers on site readiness,
and managing deployment vendors and suppliers including GPU and server manufacturers, installation partners, and cabling and logistics providers
- Acting as the primary delivery contact for customer stakeholders during deployment, managing expectations, change requests and progress reporting
- Owning the test strategy and plan for each AI Factory, setting acceptance criteria for vendor tests at server (L10), rack (L11) and cluster (L12) level, and leading acceptance and integrated system testing through to sign-off with Operations
- Owning platform deployment cycle time, measuring every deployment step, and driving automation, standard runbooks and moving work earlier or in parallel where testing allows
- Feeding improvements back to the Platform and Infrastructure teams, and sharing lessons with other regions
- Handing over to Operations with as-built records, runbooks and a completed operational readiness checklist, and supporting build defects during the hypercare window
- Identifying, tracking and mitigating delivery risks, and ensuring deployments meet safety, security, quality and compliance requirements
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years' experience in data centre, infrastructure or cloud delivery, including 3+ years leading engineering teams or delivery programmes
- Experience delivering large-scale GPU, HPC or data centre infrastructure deployments through to customer acceptance and handover
- Working knowledge of GPU cluster architectures, high-performance networking (InfiniBand, RDMA) and storage, plus Kubernetes, Slurm and infrastructure-as-code, enough to assess plans, risks and technical trade-offs
- Experience managing data centre providers, vendors, suppliers and delivery budgets
- A track record of reducing deployment or delivery cycle times through process change or automation, and the ability to show the before and after
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including with customer executives,
and commercial awareness of contract, scope and change
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- Strong attention to detail
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- A genuine interest in AI, technology and what Sharon AI is building
Nice to have:
- NVIDIA SuperPOD or DGX-based deployment experience
- Experience in GPU cloud, cloud provider or neocloud environments
- PMP, PRINCE2 or similar, and service transition or ITIL practice
- Delivery experience across several countries in the region
