We are a small, established legal team based in West Perth, made up of three solicitors and a database management officer.

We work in a close-knit, professional environment where good organisation and clear communication make a real difference to how the team operates day to day.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join us on a permanent, part-time basis (0.6 FTE).

Reporting to our General Counsel, you will keep the office running smoothly and provide administrative support to the legal team. The role brings together office operations, supplier and contract management, invoice processing and budget tracking, and people support.

This is a standalone role based in our West Perth office, so you will be trusted to manage your own workload and be the go-to person for how the office runs.

We are flexible about how the 0.6 FTE is worked, whether that is three days a week, school hours across the week, or another pattern that suits you. If there is an arrangement that would work better for you, we are happy to talk it through.

What you will do

- Manage the day-to-day running of the office, including facilities, maintenance scheduling, cleaning services and workplace organisation.
- Oversee office security, access control and safety compliance.
- Coordinate equipment and furniture needs, set-up and maintenance, and keep office supplies stocked.
- Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, contractors and the landlord, and keep the broader team informed.
- Handle correspondence, phone calls, filing and record updates.
- Manage lease agreements and vendor contracts.
- Provide basic IT support,

working alongside our external IT provider.
- Track office expenses, process invoices, manage purchase orders and oversee the office budget.
- Support onboarding logistics and workspace preparation for new team members, and assist HR and payroll with employee details.
- Coordinate training bookings and scheduling to help the team keep their training requirements up to date.
- Plan company events and team activities as required.

About you

- Minimum of 5 years' experience in office administration or a similar role.
- Experience managing and processing invoices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands independently.
- Explicit, professional written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and an efficient, can-do approach.
- Willingness to learn new processes and pick up new skills as required.
- Previous office management experience is preferred.
- The successful applicant will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance.

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences. If you do not tick every box but think you would be great in this role, we would still like to hear from you. We are committed to a fair and accessible recruitment process, please let us know if you need any adjustments to take part.

Your application will include the following questions:

- Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
- How many years' experience do you have as an office manager?
