Key responsibilities

- Support the Branch Manager with the day-to-day operations of the workshop.
- Assist in leading, supporting and guiding technicians and workshop staff.
- Help achieve branch sales, productivity and profitability targets.
- Coordinate bookings and workshop workflow to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Attend to customers, understand their needs and provide clear, skilled advice.
- Review technician inspection and diagnostic reports, then prepare and explain repair quotations.
- Obtain customer approvals and communicate clearly about repair progress, costs and completion times.
- Ensure completed work is accurately invoiced and customer payments are collected.
- Oversee vehicle handovers, explaining completed work and future maintenance recommendations.
- Help maintain a safe, organized and professional workshop, stepping in to coordinate daily operations when the Branch Manager is away.

About you





- Previous experience as a senior service advisor, assistant workshop manager or automotive team leader.
- Strong automotive technical knowledge, with European vehicle experience highly regarded.
- A practical, supportive approach to leadership and teamwork.
- Strong customer service and sales skills, with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships.
- An understanding of workshop productivity, sales and profitability.
- Confidence preparing and explaining repair quotations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, accountable and results-driven attitude.
- A current Australian driver’s license.
