We are excited to announce an opening for a Customs Broker (or maybe 2) at our vibrant Melbourne office! This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking part-time, full-time, or flexible working options. Located conveniently at Melbourne Airport , we embrace flexible working models that allow you to balance your professional and personal life seamlessly.

Your purpose:

- Prepare, review and lodge import declarations in accordance with legislative requirements
- Prepare, review and lodge import documentation for DAFF Clearance
- Prepare, review and lodge duty refunds and duty drawbacks as required
- Ensure accurate tariff classification and Customs valuation
- Apply relevant tariff concessions and Free Trade Agreements
- Provide clear, professional advice to clients
- Identify, communicate and resolve day to day challenges
- Communicate professionally with clients, internal operational teams, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all Customs and biosecurity legislation and other regulatory requirements





You'll bring:

- Minimum 2-3 years experience as a practicing Licenced Customs Broker
- Competence in all facets of Customs and biosecurity clearance across a diverse portfolio of clients and commodities
- Sound working knowledge of Australian Customs Law and procedures including Tariff Classification, Valuation, DAFF and Free Trade Agreements
- Sound experience using ICs, COLS & BICON
- Capable of independently managing import clearance files
- Ability to provide clear, professional advice to clients on import regulations
- Ability to identify and resolve complex clearance matters
