Austern Commercial Property Pty Ltd is a growing property development company based in Perth, Western Australia. We are involved in residential developments, including houses and townhouses.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Registered Builder to join our team on a full-time basis.
About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising residential construction projects, ensuring building compliance and maintaining high construction standards.
The candidate must hold current WA Building Practitioner registration and be eligible and willing to act as a Nominated Supervisor for a registered building contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise residential building projects.
- Monitor construction quality and progress.
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
- Ensure compliance with WA building regulations, the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.
- Assist with building permits, inspections and compliance documentation.
- Identify and resolve construction issues.
- Undertake Nominated Supervisor responsibilities, subject to regulatory approval.
Requirements
- Current WA Registered Building Practitioner registration (essential).
- Experience in residential construction, including houses and townhouses.
- Strong knowledge of WA building regulations.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Current Australian driver’s licence.
- Willingness and eligibility to act as a Nominated Supervisor.

- Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per annum + superannuation.
