/nAre you a Registered Nurse looking for a fulfilling role in a supportive rural health setting? We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – Grade 2 to join a Nursing team and help deliver safe, high-quality patient care to the local community./n

About the Role/n

/nReporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering effective, efficient and quality patient care across the acute and sub-acute settings at Orbost Regional Health. This is a genuine chance to broaden your clinical scope in a close-knit rural facility where no two days look the same./n

/n

Key Responsibilities/n /n

- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care within professional, legal and ethical standards

/n

- Assess patients' health needs and expected outcomes, and develop care plans in collaboration with the broader healthcare team

/n





- Involve patients in planning and delivering their own care

/n

- Liaise with medical, clinical and senior nursing staff when additional expertise is required

/n

- Deliver patient education and appropriately document advice given

/n

- Maintain accurate, contemporary clinical records

/n

- Assist with discharge planning

/n

- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

/n

- Participate in the patient admission process

/n

- Contribute to relevant hospital committees

/n

- Support the orientation of new staff

/n

- Participate in projects and other duties as required

/n About You We're looking for candidates with a background in one or more of the following:/n

/n /n

- Acute Medical/Surgical nursing

/n

- Generalist nursing

/n

- Emergency Department (ED) nursing

/n

- Rural/generalist hospital nursing

/n

- Combined acute and aged care/sub-acute experience

/n
