Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Civil/Structural Designer to join our team in Melbourne on a 12 months contract. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing day to day supervision of a team of designers utilising AUTOCAD and PDMS, ensuring delivery of fit for purpose design solutions to project requirements that comply with local laws and regulations, as well as industry and Company codes, standards and practices.
Qualifications
- 12 years minimum experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- At least 8 years shall have been in a designer role in the civil/structural discipline
- A technical associate’s degree or equivalent in education and/or experience
- Demonstrated capability of performing the full range of discipline design and analysis
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with positive initiative and interpersonal skills
