We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Registrar to join a well-established regional hospital in Queensland, offering an excellent combination of broad clinical exposure, hands‑on experience, strong senior support and potential access to Workplace Based Assessment (WBA).

This opportunity may suit both Australian-trained doctors and International Medical Graduates (IMGs) looking to build their paediatric experience within the Australian healthcare system.

Build valuable Australian hospital experience within a supportive clinical environment, with structured supervision and orientation.

What You Will Do

- Provide high-quality care across General Paediatrics, Special Care Nursery/Neonatal care and acute paediatric presentations .
- Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds, clinical handover and outpatient care.
- Assess and manage acute admissions and complex paediatric presentations.
- Supervise, mentor and teach junior medical officers and medical students.
- Participate in clinical education, quality improvement and departmental activities.

What We Are Looking For

- Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Registration: Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Experience: Relevant postgraduate hospital experience, with previous Paediatric and/or Neonatal experience highly regarded.
