Ashmore Skin Assessment Surgery
Ashmore
About the role
Casual RN starting at a minimum of two fixed days a week including Fridays, with additional shifts across procedure lists, leave cover and busy periods. With parental leave coming up within our nursing team and a third doctor joining in the new year, this role has a genuine pathway to four to five days a week during 2027 for the right person. This is a role for a nurse who wants ownership of something, not just shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of our new PDT and digital imaging services (full training provided)
- Run procedural setups and assist in minor surgery
- Manage wound care, dressings and suture removal
- Provide professional supervision and mentoring to our Enrolled Nurse
- Help build the clinical systems of a practice that is scaling
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with solid clinical experience
- Confident in procedural settings and sterile technique
- Comfortable supervising and supporting junior nursing staff
- Reliable attendance, non-negotiable in a team this size
- Two recent clinical referees required, including your most recent nursing manager
- Skin cancer, procedural, theatre or dermatology experience highly regarded
Who does well here
We are a small team and we hire for attitude as much as skill. The person who thrives here is reliable, honest about mistakes, takes feedback well, works independently, and treats no task as beneath them. What we cannot train is character.

- A explicit pathway to four to five days a week in 2027 as parental leave and a third doctor expand the nursing roster
