Electrical Engineer – EV Charging

Location: Sydney, NSW

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 + super DOE

Work Arrangement: Hybrid with site visits

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a growing business delivering EV charging infrastructure and innovative energy solutions. This role combines electrical design, project delivery and commissioning, with exposure to battery storage and energy management technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design electrical systems, complete load calculations and prepare technical drawings.
- Support the installation, testing and commissioning of EV charging infrastructure.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and optimise system performance.
- Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety requirements.




- Support battery storage integration and future infrastructure projects.

About You

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in electrical design, power distribution or electrical project delivery.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and produce technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and compliance.
- Solid problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable: Experience with EV charging, BESS, renewable energy or power systems.
