Engineering Manager – Transmission & Distribution (Overhead Line)

We're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the design, delivery, and growth of overhead transmission line projects within our Transmission & Distribution business while building team capability and strengthening our presence in a rapidly evolving market.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting leadership role where you'll not only deliver high-impact projects but also lead, mentor, and uplift a team of talented engineers. You'll play a key role in shaping technical excellence, growing our capability, and enhancing our market presence across major energy programs.

- Lead the delivery of overhead transmission line projects across design, planning, and execution phases
- Provide strong technical and people leadership, mentoring engineers and supporting capability uplift across the team
- Foster a high-performing,

- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian and international standards for design, testing, and commissioning
- Apply your expertise in PLS-CADD, TOWER and/or POLE to support high-quality engineering outcomes
- Oversee the full asset lifecycle from planning through to construction, operation, and maintenance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, enhancing WSP's market presence and reputation
- Lead bids, proposals, and strategic growth initiatives to secure new work
- Support project delivery in a Project Director / Project Manager capacity where required
