About the role

Allied Health Clinic in the heart of prospect is seeking an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join our growing team at our clinic in Prospect SA 5082. This is a full time position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients' health and wellbeing through therapeutic massage treatment. As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you will be integral to our clinic's service delivery, working collaboratively with chiropractors, acupuncturists and other allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care to our diverse client base.

This role is based on-site at our Prospect location, where you will work in a modern, supportive clinical environment.

What you'll be doing

- Conducting thorough client consultations to assess muscular and skeletal conditions, contraindications and treatment goals

- Performing remedial massage treatments using a range of techniques tailored to individual client needs and therapeutic objectives

- Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans in conjunction with other healthcare professionals

- Providing advice to clients on self-care strategies, stretching routines and postural awareness to support ongoing recovery

- Maintaining detailed and accurate client records in compliance with professional standards and privacy legislation

- Contributing to a collaborative healthcare team environment, communicating effectively with other health professionals and practitioners

- Promoting client retention through exceptional service delivery and professional communication





- Staying current with industry best practices, continuing professional development and emerging treatment methodologies

- Maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming treatment space that meets health and safety standards

What we're looking for

- Current registration with the an accredited professional body/association (ie AAMT / ANTA)

- Completion of an accredited Australian remedial massage qualification (minimum 12-month full-time course or equivalent)

- Demonstrated experience working as a remedial massage therapist, within a clinical or multidisciplinary healthcare setting

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and common musculoskeletal conditions and their treatment

- Proficiency in a range of remedial massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and stretching

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients

- Ability to work autonomously whilst contributing effectively to a team-based clinical environment

- Current First Aid and CPR certification

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry standards





- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and treatment schedules efficiently

- Health fund accreditation / provider number registrations required
