The Role and your experience:

This is a hands-on design role with real ownership. You'll work across both 1 and 2 storey residential projects from early concept through to documentation and contributing meaningfully at every stage. You'll work alongside 2 other Designers and support the Drafting & Design Manager to mentor and up skill your colleagues.

In the wider team you'll also work closely with 4 experienced Draftspersons. They're looking for someone who can challenge the status quo, be creative with elevations, floor plans, methodologies and materials whilst being respectful to the budget and brief.

Someone who is curious about different ways of working and embracing modern technology would really fit well into the team.

Day to day, you'll be:





- Meeting with clients and sales reps to understand requirements

- Design elevations, floor plans, concepts and layouts

- Ensure designs comply with the NCC, R-codes and local planning requirements

- Presenting design options to clients

- Collaborating with other designers/draftspersons and contributing to a positive culture

You'll bring:

- 5 years of design experience either in an architectural practice or residential builder

- Strong design skills across either 1 or 2 storey homes

- Proficiency in ArchiCAD and 4D Library

- Solid understanding of the NCC and R-codes

- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and visual
