We're looking for a Resort Attendant to join our team and help us create a holiday pets love and owners trust.

This is a practical, active and rewarding role for someone who genuinely loves animals, takes pride in their work and understands that exceptional pet care comes down to the little things.

What you'll be doing

No two days at Rocky Ridge are quite the same. You'll be hands-on with our guests and involved in the daily care and presentation of the resort.

Your day may include

- Caring for our guests and helping them feel safe and comfortable

- Feeding and providing fresh water

- Exercising, playing and interacting with pets

- Providing enrichment and one-on-one attention

- Cleaning and preparing guest accommodation and resort areas

- Monitoring guests and noticing changes in behaviour, health or wellbeing

- Following individual care instructions and established procedures

- Helping with arrivals and departures

- Keeping the resort clean, safe and welcoming

- Communicating clearly with your teammates

- Pitching in wherever needed to help the day run smoothly

Animal welfare comes first at Rocky Ridge, with personalised care, exercise and enrichment central to the guest experience.

Who we're looking for

You don't just like animals. You genuinely care about their wellbeing.

You'll be someone who

- Is confident and compassionate around animals

- Is reliable, punctual and ready to show up for your team

- Has a solid work ethic and isn't afraid of physical or messy work

- Takes cleaning, hygiene and safety seriously





- Pays attention and notices when something isn't quite right

- Can follow procedures and individual care instructions

- Communicates respectfully and works well as part of a team

- Stays calm and professional in a busy environment

- Takes initiative rather than waiting to be asked

- Is open to learning and feedback

- Treats every guest with patience, kindness and respect

Previous animal-care experience in a pet care facility is essential. Formal qualifications will be highly regarded.

The reality of working with animals

We want to be upfront: working at a pet resort isn't cuddling puppies all day.

There are certainly plenty of rewarding moments, but there is also cleaning, lifting, being on your feet, working outdoors, managing excited animals and getting dirty.
