We are seeking for a full-time

Retail Manager to join our team in St Peters office.

● Organise, manage and oversee the day-to-day retail operations of the St Peters store to ensure efficient service delivery and achievement of sales and operational objectives.

● Determine and manage the appropriate product mix and stock levels across timber, hardware and building supplies, taking into account customer demand, sales trends, seasonal requirements and product availability.

● Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising and product presentation across the retail store and showroom to ensure products are readily available and effectively presented to customers.

● Develop and implement retail sales and operational strategies aimed at increasing revenue, improving sales performance and supporting the ongoing profitability of the St Peters store.

● Review product pricing,



sales margins and customer demand to support competitive pricing, purchasing and product range decisions.

● Oversee customer service standards and support retail staff in responding to complex enquiries from builders, tradespeople and retail customers regarding timber, hardware and building supplies.

● Manage and resolve escalated customer enquiries, complaints and product-related issues professionally and efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

● Coordinate retail activities with relevant internal operational areas, including stock handling, customer order preparation and delivery arrangements, to support efficient fulfilment of customer orders.

● Plan and coordinate promotional activities, merchandising initiatives, product displays and in-store promotions to support sales and promote Swadlings timber, hardware and building supplies ranges.

● Ensure retail operations comply with company procedures, workplace health and safety requirements and applicable operational and safety standards.
