/n An outstanding opportunity has become available for an experienced Retail Manager to join the leadership team of a major retail asset in Darwin./n

/n This is far more than a traditional retail operations position. Working closely with the Centre Manager and broader leadership team, you will play a key role in the strategic and commercial performance of the centre, gaining significant exposure across centre operations, financial performance, retailer relationships, business planning, capital projects and stakeholder management./n

/n The Opportunity/n

/n You will take ownership of the day-to-day retail performance of the centre while becoming an increasingly influential member of the senior management team./n

/n Your responsibilities will span:/n

/n /n

- Managing relationships with key and critical retailers, including performance, debt, lease matters and retailer negotiations

/n

- Monitoring and driving centre KPIs, retailer sales performance and precinct trends

/n

- Contributing to the annual business plan and broader asset strategy

/n

- Preparing and presenting key management and financial reports

/n

- Managing sales forecasts, turnover rent, budgets, abatements and other financial reporting

/n

- Working closely with Leasing to support leasing strategy and critical retailer reviews

/n

- Overseeing retailer engagement, tenancy delivery, refurbishments and shop openings

/n





- Taking a lead role in customer-facing capital works and projects

/n

- Working closely with Operations to resolve issues impacting retailer and centre performance

/n

- Maintaining a robust focus on centre presentation, standards and customer experience

/n

- Supporting emergency, risk and duty management responsibilities

/n

- Building strong relationships with retailers, stakeholders, community and industry representatives

/n

- Providing leadership, direction and support across the broader Centre Management team

About You/n

/n We are looking for an experienced retail property professional with:/n

/n /n

- 5+ years' experience within Centre Management (ideally)

/n





- A background as a Retail Manager, Operations Manager or Centre Manager of a smaller asset

/n

- Strong understanding of the retail property sector

/n

- Strong commercial and financial acumen

/n

- Experience managing key retailers and complex stakeholder relationships

/n

- Confidence interpreting financial, sales and performance data

/n

- Strong understanding of retail leasing and compliance

/n

- Demonstrated strategic and operational planning capability

/n

- Strong leadership and people-management skills

/n

- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

/n

- A proactive, commercially focused approach to problem solving

/n

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Property or a related discipline is desirable
