Rainbow Child Care Centre is a privately owned long day care centre, established in August 1994. We provide a homelike, safe and caring environment where children can flourish and develop their self-esteem and individuality to their fullest potential. Our team of dedicated professionals includes a Director, Early Childhood Teachers, experienced Educators and a Cook.

We build trusting, secure relationships with children and families through open communication and by supporting each child’s individual needs.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma qualified Educator to join our team on a permanent full time or part-time basis. Working within our early childhood team, you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality education and care.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- complying with the centre’s policies and procedures
- providing ongoing support to the team and the centre owner
- supporting the centre to work towards exceeding the National Quality Standard




- understanding and meeting your obligations under the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Act 2010, the National Quality Standard and the Education and Care Services National Regulations

About You

You’ll hold either a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) or a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. You’ll be enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking, with outstanding skills in building strong relationships with children and families.

You’ll also be:

- a positive, self-motivated professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- a strong team player with a creative and mature approach
- able to develop and maintain a curriculum that caters to children’s individual needs
- willing to act as Responsible Person
- genuinely passionate about working with children
- current Working with Children Check
- current First Aid Certificate
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
