Nimbin Multipurpose Centre is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a nine-week contract from 16 November 2026 to 17 January 2027. This senior nursing role spans the Emergency Department, Residential Aged Care Facility, and Multipurpose Service, offering the opportunity to work across a diverse range of acute and aged care presentations in a regional NSW setting. You'll be working at a senior level, with the potential to take charge of the department and lead a small team through busy periods.

- Senior-level nursing role with responsibility for triage, emergency response, and departmental leadership

- Nine-week contract offering flexibility and the chance to make a real impact in a multipurpose healthcare setting

- Work across Emergency Department, RACF, and Multipurpose Service in Nimbin, NSW

Preferred Requirements





- Demonstrated experience working in an Emergency Department environment

- Proven competency in triage assessment and patient prioritisation

- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification

- Ability to work in charge and lead nursing staff during shifts

- Robust clinical judgment and the capacity to manage high-acuity presentations

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in Emergency Nursing

- Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are advantageous
