About the Role

We’re looking for a hands‑on, people‑focused Roofing Supervisor / Operations Manager who genuinely enjoys being out on the tools with the team, building rapport, keeping morale high, and making sure every site runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day‑to‑day operations across multiple roofing and cladding sites across Sydney.
- Lead, support and mentor installers, apprentices, and site teams with a positive, approachable attitude.
- Maintain strong site culture; good communication, good humour, and a safe, productive environment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality workmanship.
- Coordinate labour, materials, deliveries and subcontractors to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with WHS standards, including Working at Heights protocols.
- Run toolbox talks, safety checks, and site audits.
- Work closely with Directors, Estimators and Project Managers to keep timelines and budgets on track.
- Build strong relationships with clients,



suppliers and internal teams.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Roofing Supervisor, Leading Hand, Operations Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, cladding installation and general construction processes.
- Confident managing and motivating teams across multiple sites.
- Valid White Card and Working at Heights certification (non‑negotiable).
- Excellent communication skills with a down‑to‑earth, team‑first attitude.
- Ability to problem‑solve on the fly and make practical decisions.
