Scribbles & Giggles Childcare Centre Miller is looking for a motivated, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team.

We are looking for someone who brings more than a qualification. We want a leader who understands quality educational practice, takes pride in their environment, confidently leads a team and is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for children.

What we are looking for

- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- At least three years of experience working in an early childhood service, or a minimum of one year of leadership experience.
- A strong understanding of educational programming, curriculum planning, observations and documentation.
- A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and how to apply these in everyday practice.
- The ability to guide, support and motivate educators while maintaining high standards.

- A genuine passion for children, room leadership and creating an engaging, well-organised learning setting.
- Someone who takes initiative, brings fresh ideas and is confident in using their knowledge and experience to strengthen the room's educational program.

What the role involves





You will take ownership of your room's daily operations, educational program, documentation, environment and team practices. You will be expected to lead by example, actively engage with children, support your educators and ensure that quality and compliance are reflected in everyday practice.

Essential requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Relevant experience as outlined above.

- Full-time availability to work 38 hours per week across our operating hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, according to the roster.
- Valid Australian working rights.
