La Belle Miette, Melbourne's macaron, chocolate and French tea specialist patisserie, is seeking a sales and office assistant to work primarily in our Richmond office.

We specialise in small delights. As a sales assistant, you help create the beautiful experience of visiting our patisseries, providing exceptional customer service to ensure needs are met and expectations exceeded. You should be excited to learn about the ingredients, techniques and flavours so that you can speak knowledgeably with customers who may be making seeking your advice for wedding and event favours and catering, corporate gifting, or smaller gift purchases.

As a key member of the office team, you should have an excellent phone and email manner, be able to multi-task, and also know how to prioritise tasks and projects. You should be a do-er, with a hands-on attitude, able to assist with order preparation, scheduling, website updates, and ordering/managing supplies for our retail stores. Accuracy and attention to detail are key qualities as the business handles many high value clients and gifting and catering for special events.

We specialise in small delights – macarons, chocolate bonbons, and the largest range in Australia of tea from Mariage Frères, the leading tea house of Paris. Founders Maylynn and Hugh lead a devoted team in continuing to grow, develop and evolve the company.

The role is primarily to work at our Richmond office, which runs alongside our production kitchen. We also have stores in Melbourne, Chadstone, Sydney and Canberra.
