About the role

Dankz Furniture is seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team on a full time basis at our Willetton, WA location. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of customer service in the retail furniture industry. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, and representing the Dankz Furniture brand with professionalism and enthusiasm.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting customers warmly and identifying their furniture needs through attentive listening and consultative questioning
- Showcasing furniture collections and highlighting product features, quality, and value propositions to prospective buyers
- Providing expert product knowledge across our range of furniture offerings to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
- Processing sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and payment methods
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing showroom environment
- Meeting and exceeding individual and team sales targets on a consistent basis
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and excellent team performance, bringing a positive and (can do) attitude
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally and resolving issues to customer satisfaction
- Staying informed about current promotions, stock availability, and new product arrivals

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in a retail or customer-facing sales role, preferably in furniture or home décor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer groups
- Excellent sales ability with a demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Product knowledge and the ability to quickly learn about furniture styles, materials, and features




- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
- A professional appearance and strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer situations with composure
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and assist with furniture demonstrations
- A genuine passion for helping customers find the perfect furniture solutions for their homes
