BlueGum Granny Flats is a Sydney builder specialising in granny flats. We are Australian-owned, based in Padstow, with a team of around 20 and about 40 active sites across Greater Sydney, and we have been operating in this segment for 15 years. Design, drafting and construction are all handled in-house, so what you sell is what we build.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our granny flat sales team: two sales consultants and a lead qualifier. All leads are supplied and qualified in-house.

This is a hands-on role: you will lead the team and still meet clients and close your own deals.

You will:

- Lead, coach and manage two sales consultants and our lead qualifier
- Set the standards for lead response times, qualification and appointments booked
- Allocate qualified leads across the team, including your own
- Own the sales pipeline, forecasts and conversion reporting to the directors
- Run weekly sales meetings and the Saturday showroom roster
- Meet clients on site and at our showroom, and close your own sales
- Review quotes and proposals before they go to clients, working with our drafting and construction team
- Make sure every sale hands over cleanly to the project managers




- Keep the in-house CRM accurate and up to date across the team

About you

- Proven experience leading a sales team in residential construction, ideally granny flats or with a volume builder
- A personal track record of strong sales results
- Able to read plans and talk confidently about site constraints, inclusions and pricing
- Working knowledge of NSW approval pathways (CDC and DA)
- A coach who sets clear targets and holds the team to them
- Honest and explicit with clients; you set expectations the build team can deliver
- Organised, data-driven and consistent with follow-up
- Available for Saturday showroom appointments
- Current driver's licence and full Australian working rights

What we offer

- Base salary of $110,000 to $130,000 plus super
- An override on all team sales, plus commission on your own sales – OTE $200,000+
