Sales, Marketing & Technical Service Representative

This is a varied hands-on role combining sales and marketing with laser calibration, servicing and repair work. You will work with customers to promote and sell our products and services while also assisting with the calibration, maintenance and repair of construction and surveying laser equipment.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify and follow up new sales opportunities
- Prepare quotes and follow up on leads
- Promote our products and services through phone, email, social media and other marketing channels
- Assist with marketing campaigns, promotional material and customer communications
- Attend customer sites, trade shows and industry events where required
- Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support
- Assist with the calibration and testing of laser and surveying equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out basic repairs and servicing
- Perform routine maintenance and quality checks

About you

- Motivated, reliable and willing to learn




- Confident communicating with customers
- Interested in sales, marketing and hands-on technical work
- Mechanically and technically minded
- Able to diagnose problems and work with tools and equipment
- Organised and able to manage a variety of tasks
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Confident using computers, email and social media
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, electronics, equipment repairs, construction or surveying would be highly regarded, but training can be provided for the right person
- A varied role with both office-based and hands-on work
- Training in laser calibration, servicing and repair
