ABOUT US

Take Notice Manufacturers (TNM) has been supplying and installing acoustic wall and ceiling panels, pinboards and whiteboard systems since 2000. We work as a subcontractor to leading head contractors across Education and Commercial fitout projects, and have completed over 11,000 projects. Our team of 20-25, manufactures and installs from our Wetherill Park facility, working with trusted brands including Autex, Woven Image, Instyle, Acoufelt, CSR Martini, and others.

We're a close-knit team that values accuracy, reliability and solid relationships with the builders and architects we work with.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Sales Estimator to own the process from construction documents through to purchase order. You'll measure and price our work, win it, and see it converted into orders. It starts as an estimating role, and if you bring sales, business development or project coordination experience, there's real room to grow it into something bigger.

We're starting to explore using AI in our business and are keen to do more with it. We're looking for someone who can help guide us through that, and who can help make our estimating process more professional and efficient along the way. Experience using AI tools at work is a big plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Review architectural drawings, specifications and finishes schedules to complete accurate quantity take-offs
- Select the products and systems required to meet project and compliance requirements
- Prepare competitive supply and installation quotes using TNM's estimating procedures




- Follow up quoted projects with head contractors to answer questions, track status and improve win rates • Convert accepted quotes into purchase orders, making sure products, quantities and pricing carry through correctly
- Build and maintain relationships with head contractors, builders and architects
- Liaise with our production and installation teams to support a smooth handover from quote to delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS AND E XPERIENCE

Essential

- Mid to experienced level in estimating, quantity take-off or a similar construction role
- Confident reading architectural drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately to tender deadlines
- Proficient in Excel
- Clear communicator, comfortable following up quotes and dealing with clients

Highly regarded

- Experience in joinery, ceilings, partitions, acoustics or fitout supply
- Sales or business development experience
- Experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to speed up everyday work such as reviewing specifications, extracting quantities from drawings, drafting quotes and emails, or building Excel tools. This is a significant bonus.
- Project or site coordination experience
- A trade, building or construction-related qualification (not required if you have the experience)
