About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales growth and expand market presence within Australia’s heavy machinery and construction equipment sector.

This opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven skilled with a strong background in heavy equipment sales, key account management, and distributor or dealer network development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening the company’s position in the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and distribution partners.
- Identify new business opportunities across the construction, infrastructure, and earthmoving sectors.
- Expand and manage dealer and distributor networks to increase market coverage.
- Manage key accounts, negotiate commercial agreements, and develop long-term customer partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives.
- Track sales performance, pipeline development, and key performance indicators.

Requirements





- Proven experience in sales management within the heavy machinery, heavy equipment, or construction equipment industry.
- Strong knowledge of earthmoving or construction machinery, such as excavators, wheel loaders, and related equipment.
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, business development, and key account management.
- Experience developing dealer networks, distributors, or channel partnerships.
- Strong commercial negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies in a competitive market.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Must be currently based in Melbourne, Victoria, and hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Willingness to work on-site in Melbourne.
