About the Role

As a Commission-Based Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, meeting prospective residential and commercial customers, promoting our products and converting enquiries into confirmed sales.

You will have the opportunity to earn commission based on your sales performance, with the potential to grow your income as you build your customer base.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation and Business Development

- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in residential and commercial markets.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, online enquiries and other marketing activities.
- Build relationships with homeowners, builders, renovators, property managers, contractors and commercial clients.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers.

2. Sales and Customer Relationship Management

- Contact prospective customers and arrange appointments.
- Understand customers' needs and recommend suitable roller shutters, outdoor blinds and related products.
- Present product features, benefits, pricing and available options professionally.
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers to secure orders.
- Negotiate pricing within approved company guidelines and close sales..

3. Product Knowledge and Customer Service

- Develop a sound understanding of roller shutters, outdoor blinds, product specifications, operating systems, colours and installation options.




- Provide accurate product information and set realistic customer expectations.
- Coordinate with the office, measuring team and installation team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Communicate customer requirements, site conditions and special requests clearly to the relevant team members.

4. Sales Administration and Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, quotations and sales activities.
- Submit customer orders and required documentation promptly.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations and pending customer decisions.
- Keep management informed of sales progress, customer feedback and market opportunities.
- Ensure all sales are recorded and comply with company policies and procedures.

5. Professional Conduct and Sales Performance

- Represent the business professionally and protect its reputation.
- Work independently, manage your time effectively and meet agreed sales targets.
- Stay informed about competitors, market trends and customer demands.
- Follow applicable consumer protection laws and company sales procedures.

What We Are Looking For
- Previous sales experience is preferred, particularly in blinds, shutters, windows, home improvements, building products or related industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills.
- A proactive attitude and confidence in approaching new customers.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Good organisation, time management and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own sales pipeline.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport are preferred.
- Product training and guidance can be provided to the right candidate.

Commission and Earning Potential
- Commission-based remuneration, with earnings linked to sales performance.

Pay: From $55,880.00 per year
