New Earth, operating through NORF, is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team and develop their career in sales.

This role will work across our Salisbury Plain and Korunye locations and will include regular on-the-road travel to visit customers, build relationships and develop new business opportunities across South Australia.

Previous sales experience is welcome, but it isn't essential. Having the right attitude, confidence with people and a genuine passion for our products and industry will ensure your success.

What you'll be doing:

· Building relationships with new and existing customers, including landscapers, contractors, agricultural and other industry customers

· Growing and promoting the Recent Earth brand across Adelaide and South Australia including the promotion of our range of mulches, soils and composts products

· Responding to product and sales enquiries and recommending suitable products





· Proactively identifying new sales opportunities, preparing quotes and following up leads in a timely manner

· Learning about our products and confidently explaining their applications and benefits

· Using social media to identify content opportunities, share product knowledge and offer regular customer-focused updates

· Assisting with the development and maintenance of sales and marketing materials (including product details , promotional content and customer communications)

· Maintaining the New Earth website content to ensure product information, imagery and supporting content is current and relevant

· Travelling between Salisbury Plain and Korunye and visiting customers and prospects at their premises, as required

· Providing friendly, knowledgeable and responsive customer service

· Enjoy meeting and speaking with people

· Are confident, energetic and self-motivated

· Have good communication and a customer friendly approach

· Show great organizational and time management skills

· Comfortable with website / social media platforms

· Want to learn and develop a career in sales

· Enjoy being part of a practical, hands-on industry

· Have a current driver's licence

· Willingness to have a Drug & Alcohol assessment

It’s a bonus if:

· You have experience in landscaping, horticulture, nurseries, garden supplies, civil construction, council or a similar industry, but it is not essential

· You have sales experience but if you don’t, we are happy to teach the right person
