The Resilience Project

Australia

We’re looking for enthusiastic educators to join The Resilience Project. Bringing passion for mental health and determination to make a real impact, you’ll build strong partnerships and help school communities develop sustainable cultures of wellbeing.

- Full-time
- 12-month contract (with prospect for extension)
- Working from home, within greater Brisbane or the Gold Coast
- Frequent travel to schools in metropolitan/regional areas and occasional trips to our Melbourne office

About TRP The Resilience Project (TRP) exists to inspire happiness and change lives. We're on a mission to make wellbeing accessible to everyone, everywhere - guided by a simple but powerful vision: Wellbeing. Every home. Everyday.

Through evidence-based education programs, workplace initiatives, podcasts, events and resources, we teach practical strategies that help people build resilience and wellbeing.

We've delivered programs to 3,500 schools and early years services, 850 workplaces, and elite sport, including Australian cricket, netball, soccer, NRL and AFL teams.

Our team is driven by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.

Life at TRP

At TRP, we're driven to have an impact through everything we do. We're guided by our values - humble, inclusive, passionate, professional and curious - and experience care, trust and challenge every day.

We care. We genuinely enjoy working together, like to have a laugh and value connecting with each other.

We're trusted. We're outcomes driven, believe in our abilities and are trusted to deliver, which is why we have autonomy and flexibility to lead our own work.

We're challenged. We grow by stretching ourselves to constantly improve, learn new things and give each other honest feedback.

About the role To meet the growing demand for wellbeing in schools in Queensland,

we are seeking passionate educators to help drive the growth and impact of our School Wellbeing Program.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and nurturing strong, ongoing partnerships with schools, supporting program implementation and engagement to embed wellbeing into their culture. You’ll lead engaging workshops with teachers and school leaders (both face-to-face and online), equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to deliver our program.

With a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, you’ll play a critical role in expanding our reach while strengthening long-term relationships. Most importantly, you’ll help shape thriving school cultures where thousands of students, staff and families can benefit from improved mental health and wellbeing.

What will you be doing?

- Relationship Management - Build strong relationships and provide ongoing support to Partnership Schools, enabling successful program implementation and engagement.

- Program Operations - Manage the onboarding of new schools and the retention process for existing schools from year to year.

- Presentations & Workshops - Book, deliver and facilitate workshops in-person and online with teachers. There may also be opportunities for additional presentations and workshops with workplaces, parent groups and students.

- Program Administration - Maintain a detailed profile and overview of the progress,

implementation, engagement and experience of your school allocation.

About You

We are looking for someone who shares the TRP values and is passionate about our purpose to “inspire happiness and change lives”.

You’ll need to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, be driven to achieve outcomes, proactively lend a helping hand and bring a positive, can-do attitude to your work.

Our ideal candidate will also have:

- A degree in teaching, with at least 3 years of in-school experience working as a teacher.
- An ability to build great relationships with a diverse range of people.
- Interest and knowledge in mental health and passion for helping people.
- Willingness to travel regularly to regional and interstate locations.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with an ability to deliver to a range of audiences, particularly other educators.
- Proven ability to be self-motivated, work autonomously, and independently manage competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with a range of people.
- Well-developed strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills to support the retention of schools.
- Strong understanding of the Australian and Queensland curriculum frameworks.
