Our expertise spans Operational Technology, Networking, Cyber Security and IoT Integration, bringing traditionally siloed building systems together to create more connected, secure and intelligent environments.

Job Purpose

As a Security Analyst, you will take ownership of Syntric's vulnerability management service across customer and internal environments, helping organisations identify, prioritise and remediate security vulnerabilities.

This is a hands on cyber security role focused on vulnerability scanning, risk assessment, remediation coordination and security reporting. You will work closely with customers, engineers and internal technical teams to turn security findings into actionable outcomes and measurable improvements.

You'll be responsible for managing the vulnerability lifecycle from scanning and analysis through to remediation tracking, reporting and continuous service improvement, while helping develop scalable security processes as Syntric's customer portfolio grows.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operate and maintain vulnerability scanning services across customer and internal environments.
- Analyse, validate and prioritise vulnerabilities based on severity, exploitability, asset criticality and customer risk.
- Coordinate remediation activities with customers, system owners and technical teams, tracking findings through to resolution.
- Manage accepted risks, exceptions and remediation deadlines to ensure clear accountability.
- Produce security reports covering vulnerability trends, remediation performance and overall security posture.
- Manage vulnerability management platforms, including configuration, scanning, analysis and reporting.
- Improve security workflows through automation,

standardisation and platform integrations.
- Work closely with Security Engineers, Network Engineers, DevOps and Support teams to resolve security findings.
- Contribute to information security governance, audit preparation, compliance activities and evidence gathering.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and support the development of new cyber security services.
- Communicate technical findings clearly to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring risks and recommended actions are understood.

Who You Are You're a technically minded Security Analyst who enjoys investigating vulnerabilities, assessing risk and working with technical teams to improve security outcomes.

You may come from a background in Vulnerability Management, Security Analysis, Security Operations or a broader Cyber Security role, with experience managing vulnerabilities across multiple systems or customer environments.

We're looking for someone with practical experience across areas such as:

- Vulnerability Assessment and Management
- Vulnerability Scanning and Security Analysis
- Risk Based Vulnerability Prioritisation
- Remediation Tracking and Risk Management
- Security Reporting and Data Analysis
- Information Security Governance and Compliance

Experience with platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7 or equivalent vulnerability management tools will be highly relevant. You'll also bring a working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 and the Essential Eight, alongside strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership,

works collaboratively with technical teams and can translate security findings into practical remediation actions.

What Success Looks Like

- Vulnerability scans are completed reliably and delivered to agreed standards.
- Security findings are accurately validated, prioritised and assigned to accountable system owners.
- Remediation activities are tracked effectively, with risks and exceptions clearly documented.
- Customers have explicit visibility of their vulnerability exposure and remediation progress.
- Security reporting provides meaningful insight into trends and overall security posture.
- Vulnerability management workflows become increasingly efficient through automation and standardisation.
- Governance, audit and compliance activities are supported by accurate documentation and evidence.
- You contribute to the continuous improvement and expansion of Syntric's cyber security services.

Why Join Syntric? At Syntric, you'll work at the intersection of Cyber Security, Networking, Operational Technology and Smart Buildings.
