About the Role

Securecorp is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Time Security Officer to join our team at the iconic Chadstone Shopping Centre.

This is a dynamic retail security position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and safety outcomes. You will play a key role in maintaining a protected and secure environment for retailers, staff, and visitors while supporting centre operations and emergency response activities.

This position operates on a 12-hour rotating roster across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing a visible security presence
- Monitoring and patrolling assigned areas
- Responding to incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations
- Managing access control and safety procedures
- Writing clear and accurate incident reports
- Delivering outstanding customer service to retailers and visitors
- Supporting centre operations and emergency response activities





Skills & Experience To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Current Victorian Security Licence
- Control Room Endorsement
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Professional presentation and reliability
- Ability to work independently and within a team

Availability to work a 12-hour rotating roster across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays is essential.
