About the Role:/n

/nAs a Senior AI Engineer/Developer, you will play a leading role in developing secure, scalable and high-performing AI solutions across both on-premises and cloud-based environments. You will work closely with Data Scientists, Architects, Cyber Security teams and Platform Engineers to establish foundational AI capabilities, drive innovation and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions. /n

/nThe role requires solid software engineering expertise, deep AI/ML knowledge and the ability to lead technical outcomes within complex stakeholder environments./n

/n

Key Responsibilities:/n

/n /n

- Design, develop and deploy enterprise AI, ML and Generative AI solutions

/n

- Lead the engineering, integration and optimisation of AI platforms and applications

/n

- Build secure, scalable and reusable software solutions for AI workloads

/n

- Develop and maintain AI deployment pipelines and MLOps frameworks

/n

- Design and implement APIs, integrations and automation solutions

/n

- Collaborate with architects and technical teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions

/n

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and knowledge sharing across engineering teams

/n

- Drive software quality, security,



testing and continuous improvement practices

/n

- Produce solution designs, technical documentation and implementation guidance

/n

- Ensure AI solutions meet security, governance and compliance requirements

/n

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across AI and platform environments

/n

- Engage with stakeholders to communicate technical concepts, recommendations and outcomes

/n Skills & Experience:/n

/n /n

- Proven experience designing, developing and deploying enterprise AI, Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions

/n

- Strong software engineering background with advanced Python development, automation and API integration expertise

/n

- Hands-on experience with MLOps practices, including model lifecycle management, training, deployment, monitoring and optimisation

/n

- Experience with LLM and Generative AI technologies, including RAG, embeddings, vector databases, Hugging Face and AI agent frameworks

/n

- Strong knowledge of containerisation and platform engineering using Docker, Podman and Kubernetes-based environments

/n

- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps/GitOps practices using tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible and Argo CD

/n





- Solid understanding of cloud and AI platforms, including AWS, Azure and associated AI/ML services

/n

- Experience with enterprise integration, REST APIs, authentication, OAuth/OIDC and distributed architectures

/n

- Strong understanding of security, DevSecOps, governance, compliance and secure-by-design principles

/n

- Excellent solution design, stakeholder engagement and technical leadership skills

/n

- AGSVA Security Clearance

/n Highly Desirable:/n

/n /n

- Experience with OpenShift AI and enterprise AI platforms

/n

- Experience with NVIDIA GPUs, CUDA and AI infrastructure optimisation

/n

- Knowledge of FinOps, observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana

/n

- Experience working within Government or highly regulated enterprise environments
