Senior Associate - Commercial Litigation | Brisbane

Cooper Grace Ward is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.

The role

You will act in commercial disputes for businesses and individuals across Australia. Our team is known for significant, high-profile disputes, including corporate and shareholder disputes, building and construction litigation, regulatory matters and complex professional negligence claims. We also act in a broad range of other commercial matters, often for clients we have worked with for many years.

You will have day-to-day conduct of and responsibility for your matters, working closely with the partners, who stay closely involved throughout. You will have regular client contact, your work will be visible and there is real scope to build your profile and practice.

About you

- At least 5 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation, ideally at a top-tier or leading firm
- Broad civil and commercial litigation experience
- Solid technical, drafting and advocacy skills
- Sound judgement and demonstrated ability to run matters day to day
- A hands-on approach and a willingness to do the work yourself, as well as working with other team members
