Senior Associate / Special Counsel – Disputes & Investigations| Permanent

Elevate has partnered with a leading specialist law firm operating at the forefront of cyber, privacy, technology risk, regulatory investigations and complex disputes.

For catering the continued growth, we are seeking a talented Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join the Disputes & Investigations team. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge matters involving digital risk, data incidents, regulatory scrutiny and emerging technology-related disputes, while enjoying significant autonomy, direct client engagement and transparent progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with a highly regarded leadership team, you will take ownership of complex disputes, investigations and strategic advisory matters across a diverse client base. Key areas of work include:

- Commercial and complex litigation.
- Insurance and professional indemnity disputes.
- Regulatory investigations and enforcement matters.
- Technology Errors & Omissions (Tech E&O;) claims.
- Data breach litigation and privacy complaints.
- Class actions and emerging digital sector disputes.
- Risk and crisis response matters arising from cyber incidents.

About You

We are looking for an Australian-qualified lawyer with 5 years' PQE and:

- Strong experience in commercial litigation, insurance litigation, or a combination of both.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex matters and litigation strategy.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy and dispute resolution skills.
- Strong commercial judgement and client relationship management capabilities.
- Experience advising on regulatory investigations, professional indemnity, financial lines or complex disputes will be highly regarded.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for the evolving areas of cyber, privacy, technology and digital risk .
